Good supervision is more than a professional requirement — it is one of the most valuable investments a clinician can make in their own practice and in the quality of care they provide to their clients.
Dr Kara Granger is approved by the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) to provide clinical supervision across a range of professional needs. She brings to supervision the same qualities that define her clinical work — warmth, genuine care, and the ability to create a space where clinicians feel safe to reflect openly, be challenged constructively, and grow with confidence.
Supervisees can expect a supportive and intellectually engaged supervisory relationship — one that provides space to seek clinical guidance, develop knowledge and skills, and reflect honestly on their practice and themselves. The goal is always the same: to help clinicians become the best practitioner they can be, for themselves and for their clients.
Who Dr Granger supervises
Clinical supervision at HGC Psychology is available to:
- Registered psychologists seeking ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Psychologists working toward clinical endorsement with AHPRA
- Psychologists and psychology graduates completing postgraduate training programs
- Mental health clinicians wanting to reflect on and develop their clinical practice
- Clinical teams within organisations seeking ongoing group supervision
Individual and group supervision
Supervision is available in both individual and group formats, in person at the Bacchus Marsh practice, via phone, or online.
Individual supervision offers a confidential, focused space tailored entirely to the supervisee’s clinical needs, professional goals, and stage of development.
Group supervision brings additional value — the opportunity to learn from peers, build team cohesion, strengthen shared clinical knowledge, and foster a healthier and more reflective workplace culture. Group supervision rates are negotiated depending on the number of participants and the specific needs of the team or organisation.
Supervision for organisations
For organisations seeking to provide quality clinical supervision to their psychological or mental health staff, Dr Granger is available to discuss ongoing arrangements that suit the size, structure, and needs of your team. Investing in regular supervision supports staff wellbeing, reduces burnout risk, strengthens clinical outcomes, and builds a more confident and cohesive workforce.
Supervision fees
Individual supervision sessions start from $200 including GST per hour. Group and organisational supervision rates are negotiated based on the format and number of participants.
