Dr Kara Granger
Clinical Psychologist · Director · Supervisor
Dr Kara Granger has spent more than 20 years helping people navigate some of life’s most challenging experiences — and she brings to every session the same qualities that have defined her practice from the beginning: genuine warmth, clinical rigour, and an ability to make people feel at ease.
People often describe sessions with Kara as feeling different from what they expected. There is space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect — to look at what’s been difficult with clarity and without judgment. The therapeutic relationship Kara builds with each client is grounded in trust, genuine care, and safety. Clients are never made to feel defined by their struggles. Instead, they are supported to understand them, work through them, and move forward.
Kara works with adults and adolescents presenting with a broad range of concerns, from everyday stress and life transitions through to complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is particularly known for her trauma-informed approach and her ability to work with clients who have found it difficult to engage with support in the past.
